Constituent structure of cage clamp terminal

22-05-2023

The cage-style terminal consists of three parts: the terminal, the connecting piece, and the spring piece. After riveting the terminal and the connecting piece together, the spring piece is attached to the connecting piece.

When assembling the wire, compress the rounded corners of the spring piece, move the notch on the spring piece upwards and enlarge the space, and then thread the wire through the notch. When the force applied to the spring piece is released, the spring's own elasticity causes the notch to move downward towards the connecting piece, while also pressing the wire tightly.

Using the aforementioned method, wires can be easily removed when wire compression is incorrect or when disassembling the wire. This structure makes the terminal's wire compression flexible, convenient, and easy to operate, with good reliability, increasing product competitiveness.
