Magnetic Latching Relay
Latching refers to "self-locking", which means that after the relay is energized, its state is automatically locked and the circuit is kept connected. Even if the control current is disconnected at this time, its state will not be changed. That is to say, when the power is energized and absorbed, the control current is disconnected, and it remains on until the unlock button is pressed.
Latching relays: can be divided into 1-coil latching type and 2-coil latching type.
(1) 1-coil latching relay: when the coil is energized, the contacts act; when the coil is de-energized, the contacts remain in the previous state, and the contacts are reset only when a reverse voltage is applied to the coil.
(2) 2-winding coil lock type relay: energize the setting coil and the contact will act; when the coil is de-energized, the contact will remain in the previous state, and the contact will reset only when the reset coil is energized.
