A Rogowski coil is an inductive component that consists of a coil of thin wire wound around a magnetic core in the axial direction. When current flows through the Rogowski coil, it creates a magnetic field in the core, thereby producing an inductance. The Rogowski coil is used in electronic circuits such as oscillators, filters, and amplifiers, and is typically used in high-frequency circuits. In industrial settings, it is widely used in wireless communications, high-frequency induction heating, and power switches.

A rogowski coil is a circular coil evenly wound around a non-ferromagnetic material. The output signal is the derivative of the current with respect to time. Through a circuit integrating the output voltage signal, the input current can be truly restored. The coil has the characteristics of real-time current measurement, fast response speed, no saturation, suitable for AC, especially high frequency current measurement.
